Terms of Use

Last updated: July 18, 2026. The agreement that governs your use of the Invotory Platform and the Invotory Android app.

1. The agreement and its scope

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Invotory ("we", "us", "our"), operated from Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. They govern your use of the Invotory Platform at www.invotory.com ("the Platform") and of the Invotory Invoicing app for Android ("the App"), together "the Services".

By accessing or using either product you confirm that you have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy, understood them, and agreed to be bound by them. If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you hold the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Services.

2. Accounts

Access to the Services requires an account, under the following rules:

  • Platform accounts are created by invitation only: we provision your business workspace after an agreement with your business on the package and pricing.
  • App accounts are created by you from within the App itself.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete registration information and to keep it up to date.
  • You are solely responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for every action taken through your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately at info@invotory.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Scope of the Services

Invotory provides business management tools whose scope differs by product:

  • The Platform: invoicing, e-invoicing, inventory, expenses, quotes, purchase orders, reports, and team management with role-based permissions — provisioned, onboarded, and supported personally by our team under the package agreed with your business.
  • The App: standalone e-invoicing through Jordan's national system from your phone, sold separately with published pricing.
  • We may improve, add, or retire individual features over time, provided the core of the service you paid for is not materially reduced during a paid period.

4. E-invoicing obligations

Both products submit invoices to JoFotara, Jordan's national e-invoicing system. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Enrolling your business in JoFotara and maintaining valid credentials for it are your responsibility.
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of every invoice you issue; Invotory's role is limited to transmitting what you approve to the national system.
  • The national system is operated by the Income and Sales Tax Department. Its availability is outside our control, and we are not liable for delays or failures originating in it.
  • Invoices accepted by the national system cannot be deleted from its records; corrections are made through the official mechanisms, such as credit notes and returns.

5. Fees and payment

Platform subscriptions are custom-priced: the package and price are agreed with our team before your account is activated, and payment is made by the agreed method (bank transfer or CliQ). Package changes or cancellation take effect at the end of the current paid period, and prices only change with at least 30 days' prior notice.

The App has published pricing of 7 JOD per month or 70 JOD per year, with a free trial as described on our pricing page. Activation is manual after payment by CliQ or bank transfer, and no card is ever charged automatically.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. To request one, contact info@invotory.com within 14 days of the payment.

6. Your data

You retain full ownership of all business data you enter into the Services, and we claim no intellectual property rights over it. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that data solely to provide the Services.

You may export your data at any time using the export features in the Platform. Upon account deletion, your data is removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including issuing invoices for fictitious transactions or evading tax obligations.
  • Attempt to access other users' workspaces, data, or accounts without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services.
  • Access the Services with automated tools (bots or scrapers) without our prior written consent.
  • Transmit malware or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Services or harm their users.

8. Intellectual property

The Services — including their design, code, features, trademarks, and documentation — are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks, brand assets, or proprietary technology.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written consent.

9. Third-party services

Downloading the App is subject to Google Play's own terms. The JoFotara system is operated by the Income and Sales Tax Department under its own rules. The service providers that process data on our behalf are listed in the Privacy Policy. We are not a party to, and bear no responsibility for, your relationship with any of these third parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Invotory is a business management tool: nothing in the Services constitutes accounting, tax, or legal advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and you are responsible for verifying invoices, calculations, and reports before relying on them in your business or tax decisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including, without limitation, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. In all cases, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time: App users can request account deletion through the account deletion page, and Platform customers can contact us to end the agreement. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay due fees, or where the law requires it — with prior notice where reasonably possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. We keep your data available for a reasonable period so you can export it, after which it is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the Services.

If a competent court finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms at any time is not a waiver of that right.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by publishing the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree to them, you may terminate your account as described above.
